“The Contemporary Cottage Garden, Climate-Friendly, Mindful Methods for Growing Flowers and Food” Book by Pamela Hubbard. We are so very fortunate to have Pam with us this month to share her knowledge of designing, growing, maintaining her flower and vegetable gardens – her cottage gardens. In the pages we see many lovely photographs of her Astolot Farm within arm’s reach in Effort. She explains her methodology for dealing with weather extremes, challenges of pollution, drought, fire, how to garden with children, all with beautiful results. She is inspiring and leaves us wanting more of what she has to say.ng group for the suggestions and taking the time to vote.  Submitted by: Pat M.
